Welcome to the new Galway Horse Art page which will include all types of cartoons,drawings and paintings of horses! I’m Gillian Dunlop an equine cartoonist (and business consultant!) and you can see some of my work featured on this page. I hope to showcase some of your work too-so get drawing!
If you want to send in scans of your pictures to info@tedconsulting.ie, and I will pick the best one out each month to put up on the webpage.
My own work can be seen in Ireland’s Horse and Pony magazine every month, and I also have a massive series of mural cartoons in Olympic Saddlery’s changing rooms. There’s never any shortage of humourous incidents in the horse world, so I never run out of material for cartoons!
That’s about it for now, I look forward to seeing all your drawings and paintings!

TED Consulting Art Competition
 
Hi Folks,
As the hunting season approaches I decided to add a few more foxy cartoons to the portfolio, see what you think of these. For all you budding young artists out there, I’m going to have a competition for the best horse drawing/cartoon. There will be two categories: under fives and under tens, and the winner from each section will receive a 1 foot square wall mural of either a horse cartoon or any popular character (Thomas the Tank engine, Postman Pat etc..). Examples of my mural work can be seen in Olympic Saddlery changing rooms, Galway.(See picture below) Closing date for this competition is November 1st and I will be featuring various entrants on this page as I get them.
