of the Boomerang, Millstreet, Cavan Classic and the

Darco
won many show jumping competitions in his career such
as: Champion of Belgium as a 5 year old. Winner of
the Belgian Championship as a 6 year old.
Darco
was Winner of the Volvo World Cup in London 1988 and
in Hertogenbosch in 1989. He was 6th in the World
Championships in Stockholm in 1990 and 7th place in
the Barcelona Olympics in 1992.
Darco's
list of achievements as a jumping stallion is testimony
to his dream-like career and that of his rider Ludo
Philippaerts .As a sire, Darco, who was described
by his rider as an extremely honest and intelligent
horse was never not known to produce offspring that
fell short of excellence and was always on top of
the list for breeders from all over the world.

dam Amira is grand-dam to John Whitakers
Utah Van Erpekom. Tabasco’s maternal grand-sire
Samber preformed at Grand Prix level Dressage and
the equivalent to Grade A in Show Jumping.
Samber
is worldly renowned for his tremendous versatility,
athlethic scope and extraordinary disposition. Samber’s
influence as an international performance sire has
produced descendants that have proved themselves in
all Olympic disciplines.

Tabasco’s
progeny are also proving to be extremely versatile
with his foals winning in the show ring and the
young stock competing sucessfully at Show Jumping,
Eventing and Dressage.

the heart of Galway just outside Athenry, Co. Galway.
A full range of equine reproductive services of
highest standard are available onsite including
an equine Veterinary Surgeon to meet every need
of today's horse breeders. We also provide a professional
breaking and training service with a long outstanding
reputation in Ireland's showjumping circuit.
Chestnut
Tree Stables is based in the heart of the West of
Ireland, famously known for its tradition in both
the Irish draught horse and Connemara pony. Along
with the times, CTS Equine Care offers top class
facilities and care for breeders with an Equine
Veterinary Surgeon on site and also professional
breaking and training facilities for young stock
and Sales preparation.
Chestnut Tree Stables is owned and run by Glenn
McCullough and Tina Roche M.V.B.
